Investment Philosophy and Strategy
Monument Capital Partners' (MCP) investment strategy is to make equity and mezzanine investments in a diversified portfolio of profitable small and middle market companies located throughout Indiana and the Midwest. MCP achieves its target investment return primarily through the equity-oriented capital appreciation features of its investments. MCP's investment bias is toward majority control and influential minority equity stakes. These investments specifically target value-oriented activities including management buyout, leveraged buyout and leveraged recapitalization opportunities in addition to add-on investments in MCP portfolio companies.
